What is the difference between Hemp, Cannabis and Marijuana?

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana? Both hemp and marijuana plants are members of the cannabis genus of plants; hemp plants produce less than 0.3% THC.  Marijuana plants produce more than 0.3% THC.
